Every disaster reaches a peak before it finds its calm. That idea lies at the heart of my music and the birth of the Quartet. We live in a strange world, one that holds both destruction and beauty, and our sound reflects that duality.

Our music is progressive jazz: modern harmonies, volatile rhythms, and a deep emotional pulse. Imagine a heavy rainstorm swelling with tension and despair, then dissolving into a radiant rainbow. The pandemic was my storm, it pushed me to search for my own light, my own rainbow.

Dimitris Terpizis Quartet merges tradition with modern expression, strong and driving rhythms meet delicate, introspective textures. Our sound bridges West and Middle East, chaos and clarity, storm and calm.
